
Patrick Henry High School students Greyson P. and Will D. competed in the state forensics/speech championships at Salem High School on Saturday, March 29. Greyson won in Extemporaneous Speech and Will finished 3rd in Impromptu Speech. The top 3 finishers in each speech category achieved all-state designation! Congratulations Greyson and Will on a job well done!!




Attention Parents of PHHS Seniors: Senior ads will be reopened on the Balfour website starting on Monday, March 31, 2025. There will be a limited time to purchase through April 11, 2025 and there will be an additional week to create ads online. After that, no more ads will be sold online. Communities in Schools sponsored RoShamBo during the month of March to promote attendance while having fun! Students received a set of blue beads and challenged each other in RoShamBo. Today was the final showdown and Jay W. won a 40in TV and runners up won gift cards.

Powerful Message for WCPS High School Students
This morning, Patrick Henry High School kicked off an impactful event with guest speaker Nathan Harmon, with the program "THC: Teens, Habits, and Choices". This program will be held at all four WCPS high schools.
Students are learning about the risks of THC use and the power of making positive choices -- a message that can shape their futures in incredible ways.
Families are also invited to join the conversation tonight from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at EO Companies Career Commons in Abingdon for a special family engagement night.
