To help kick things off, Homecoming shirts and sweatshirts are now available for preorder online. Orders will close on Thursday, September 26th, so be sure to get yours before the deadline. Wearing your Homecoming shirt is a great way to show off your school spirit and celebrate this milestone year.

VHCC College Night
On August 28, 2025, students from our Business Department and CTE classes had the chance to explore career opportunities at the EO Commons Center in Abingdon! Sponsored by regional employers, students participated in a wide variety of hands-on activities, including:

🚗 Checking oil and tire pressure

🩺 Exploring medical careers

😁 Learning about dental office professions

⚡ Climbing a power pole like an electric worker

💪 Taking on the National Guard’s push-up, pull-up, and sit-up challenge

🏦 Running bank teller simulations with a local bank

🛒 Learning how to buy groceries and operate a cash register

📝 Building professional skills by practicing resume writing and proper interview techniques

From healthcare to skilled trades, finance, military service, and essential workplace skills, our students gained valuable insights while having a lot of fun.

EO Career Commons was recently buzzing with energy as students from Patrick Henry High School and Holston High School stepped into their futures!

From exploring 14 hands-on learning labs to building resumes, practicing job interviews, and connecting with professionals from CGI, Virginia Department of Transportation, and Virginia Highlands Community College -- our students gained valuable skills and career insight that will last a lifetime.
