💡 Recognizing Innovation in Action
School Board members recognized Andrew Greer of Holston High School for his outstanding achievement in Workforce Readiness Innovation.
Andrew is leading the way when it comes to preparing for life beyond the classroom – demonstrating creativity, initiative, and real-world skills that set him apart.

Students in Mrs. Christine Mitten's English classes and Mr. Carter Harlow's Art classes participated in The Butterfly Project, glazing ceramic butterflies in memory of the 1.5 million children killed during the Holocaust. Mrs. Mitten read the poem "The Butterfly" by Pavel Friedmann and discussed the symbolism of the butterfly--hope and resilience--as students painted. This was a wonderful collaborative activity to conclude National Poetry Month.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day and Holston High School has BY FAR the best bunch of lunch ladies in the world! Angie, Marie, Mary, and Susie put so much love into their jobs and we can never thank them enough for their hard work, kindness, and the awesome food they prepare every day!

Celebrating our favorite administrators today! We are blessed to be led by Mr. Long and Mr. Blackburn and our school community feels like home because of their investment in and out of our building!

From Tank to Table -- The Future is Growing at Holston High School
Holston High School students are diving into the world of aquaponics -- a high-tech sustainable farming system that combines raising fish and growing plants in water.
